Chuggington Traintastic Adventures – A Train Set Game for Kids By Budge Studios - Review

If you have a little train fan in your house then you will love Chugginton Traintastic Adventures by Budge Studios. It is packed full of exciting adventures and games. It is a universal app and requires iOS 4.3 or later. It is optimised for iPhone 5.

If you would like to purchase the app now please do so vis this link iTunes

Vee guides your chuggers through Chugginton and various adventures such as Build and Play mode, The Brewster Booster, Jet Pack Wilson , Can't Catch Koko and Breaking Brewster . You can even build your own chugger and add accessories to it as you collect more coins along the way.  Each adventure will give you new items to play with. Your collection can be viewed at any time from the main menu.

I am new to the world of Chugginton , so taking on this review was a whole new adventure to me. By the end of the time myself and my son spent playing with the app I was well and truly sold on the Chugginton concept. I was eager to build more chuggers.

A huge bonus feature of this app is the constant reinforcements given for a completed task. We all know how much our special needs children strive for recognition of even the smallest completed tasks.

The amazing thing about Chugginton Traintastic Adventures is that the user simply can not fail a task. If your train passes out a turn that is ok. It is easily rectified and your chugger is soon on its way again. The chugger is guided along a line drawn on the tracks using the child's own finger as a guide. This is great for fine motor skills as well as planning and task analysis . The user has to listen to what the task is and use the little compass on screen to guide it along the right path to complete its mission.

If your child is a Chugginton fan then they will be enthralled by the little video clips from the TV series built into the app. This will appear from time to time during tasks , but can also be accessed from the main menu at any given time as well.

This is a perfect app for any train enthusiast in your house. Some may say it is a little pricey at $5.99 but in my opinion it is worth every cent. It will keep any train fan occupied for hours .
